Business Development Officer

Responsibilities Develop and implement strategic marketing plans and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives for products and services. Plan and oversee advertising and promotional activities, including print, online, electronic media, and direct mail campaigns. Ensure effective control and monitoring of marketing results, taking corrective actions when necessary to stay within designated budgets. Oversee and evaluate market research, adjusting marketing strategies to align with changing market trends and competitive conditions. Monitor competitor products, sales strategies, and marketing activities. Meet with key clients to negotiate and close deals. Assist marketing officers in maintaining strong and harmonious client relationships. Conduct research to identify new markets, business opportunities, and customer needs. Guide the preparation of marketing activity reports and present findings to executive management. Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners. Write and execute strategic marketing plans that support the company’s annual goals. Ensure the effective execution and performance of all sales and marketing initiatives across business units and stakeholders. Lead, motivate, and manage the marketing team to achieve monthly key performance indicators (KPIs). Initiate product or process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Strengthen the marketing team through continuous training, coaching, and development of staff competencies. Attend calibration meetings and serve as one of the point persons for international clients assigned to your team. Qualifications Bachelor’s/College Degree in Business Administration, Marketing Management, or any related field. At least 1 year of experience in Sales and Marketing preferred. Strong stakeholder management and client relationship skills. Proven ability to negotiate and close deals. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Highly self-motivated, with the ability to inspire and motivate others. Experience in designing and implementing business development strategies. Fluent in both English and Tagalog. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally and confidently at all levels. Able to work under pressure and manage time effectively. Flexible in working hours (may be required to work in alignment with European, American, or Asian business hours). Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
