Position Overview Position: Full Stack Developer (Project-Based, with Opportunity to Become Full-Time) Location: Remote (Global) Reports To: CEO Company: WOWSuccessTeam Pay: Project based for 1st year based on competitive hourly rate (BOE) This project-based role is ideal for a developer who has mastered both front-end and back-end architecture, is experienced with API integrations, and has the confidence to lead projects from quoting to launch. The ideal candidate will mentor junior devs, manage complex integrations, and build scalable, client-friendly systems. Those who thrive here often grow into full-time leadership roles. Responsibilities Architect, develop, and maintain full-stack applications, dashboards, and databases Lead API integrations (custom, third-party, and middleware) with minimal oversight Translate operational business needs into technical specs and software solutions Estimate time and complexity of scoped projects for internal quoting Mentor junior developers; conduct code reviews using GitHub daily Set up and manage automation using tools like Zapier, Make, etc. Supervise and perform quality control on hosting and WordPress website updates Participate and lead in Agile sprint planning using DevStride and related tools Train clients and internal users via live Zooms and recorded video tutorials Collaborate cross-functionally with designers, project managers, and tech leads Requirements 3–5+ years’ experience in full-stack development (web and application) Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, Python, SQL Experience with Node.js, React, Vue, Express, or equivalent frameworks Comfortable with AWS, Azure, Vercel, Netlify, and DigitalOcean deployments Advanced API experience: build, customize, document, and integrate Clear, fluent written and spoken English (client-facing communication required) Strong quoting, time estimation, and scope clarification experience Excellent collaborator with proven leadership and task ownership Bonus Experience Experience managing a small team or serving as a lead developer Proficiency in WordPress theme/plugin development (including WooCommerce) Proficiency with hosting platforms including VPS, WordPress hosting, and application hosting Experience with Duda, Webflow, Wix, or other web platforms Familiarity with Supabase, Airtable, Postman, and custom middleware tools Who You Are Self-managed, proactive, and reliable Outcome-driven and client-focused Resourceful, efficient, and detail-oriented Respects deadlines and works with urgency without sacrificing quality Thrives in collaborative teams and diverse cultures Comfortable receiving feedback and committed to constant improvement About WOWSuccessTeam WOWSuccessTeam is a business engineering company that helps overwhelmed small business owners create custom systems that save time, reduce stress, and scale smart.
