Responsibilities

  • Aim to achieve a high win percentage for new business awards while generating high gross profit margins for new and existing accounts that meet or exceed new business revenue goals.
  • Maintain continuous engagement with customers to sustain close relationships and ensure ongoing success with accounts.
  • Consult with multiple levels of decision-makers to understand customers’ business challenges and logistics goals.
  • Develop tailored logistics solutions that deliver value and support the customer’s business strategy.
  • Build rapport and trust with customers by staying informed about their business and the market, and support customer retention through collaboration with all resources, including Product teams, other sales channels, and local Station Management.
  • Apply for and coordinate regional and global tenders as account owner with regional tender teams.
  • Work closely with Country Product Management to set selling price strategies for all assigned customer tenders.
  • Incorporate the daily use of the SUGAR platform to document sales activity and relevant customer business details.
  • Manage opportunities and risks to secure the interests of Rhenus A&O.
  • Participate in all sales training provided and scheduled by Rhenus A&O.
  • Act as lead negotiator in a “closer” role during client presentations.
  • Support our “Young Generation” as a Mentor.
