Responsibilities
  • Acts as Secretary of the Industrial Relation Committee (IRC) and monitors issuances and receipts of memos and schedule due process conferences; facilitates documentation requirements for IRC meetings.
  • Drafts notices and memoranda, for review and signature of HRD Head, pertaining to: Policy on Discipline; Policy on Tardiness; any other violations submitted by Internal Audit Department (IAD), Risk and Compliance Department (RCD), and incident reports from Group/Department/SBU (GDS) heads.
  • Maintains a monitoring file of all the cases and sanctions of employees.
  • Coordinates with HRD Head on violations to PGPs, company handbook including recommended plan of action, when applicable.
  • Monitors effectiveness and compliance to company policies.
  • Communicates policies pertaining to Human Resources and Benefits.
  • Provides support to IS in terms of counseling employees.
  • HR Compliance: In charge of periodic DOLE compliance reporting; processes Health and Safety standard requirements; prepares related reports; handles statutory requirements; manages annual physical examinations and wellness orientation; maintains record-keeping.
  • Benefits Administration: Uniform benefit (prepares provider comparisons and masterlist; coordinates with GSD for uniform design and supplier; handles uniform benefits for new regularized employees per Policy on Uniform).
  • Health Benefit (HB): serves as point person for all health benefit dealings; prepares masterlist for the HB term; shortlists HMO providers; negotiates terms; prepares recommendations; facilitates submission of requirements to approved provider and issues regret letters to other providers; checks billings and prepares Payment Approval Slip (PAS); handles health benefits for new regularized employees per Policy on Health Benefits (PoHB).
  • Other tasks: assists HRD Head in preparing memoranda, Policies, Guidelines and Procedures (PGPs), Manual Of Operation (MOO), employee handbook; creates and maintains updated job descriptions for all roles; administers non-financial aspects of employee benefits (e.g., HMO, Uniform, Giveaways, general supplies); acts as speaker/facilitator in employee orientation on PGPs and programs; conducts studies, surveys, benchmarking on data requirements; assists in Employee Engagement Activities; assists in maintaining employee records and HR files; handles related tasks as assigned.
