• As a member of the Student Support Services team, the Pre-Training & Enrolment Officer is responsible for providing the best available support to our students and their learning journey, including converting registrations to enrolments and ensuring students are given support pre- and post-training commencement. Adhere to Simonds Group's values of Integrity, Respect, Loyalty, and Honesty, as well as the Code of Conduct and Group policies.
• Proven ability to multitask and prioritise in a busy environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, and to set targets/KPIs.
• Professional level written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders with patience and tolerance.
• Strong relationship-building skills with expertise in managing diverse stakeholder groups.
• Ability to work collaboratively with various teams and autonomously.
• Minimum intermediate level computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and other applications (e.g., CRM software).

• Ensure accuracy of data within relevant IT systems (e.g., VETtrak, VETenrol, RTOM’S, Salesforce).
• Provide accurate enrolment advice to prospective students, ensuring eligibility criteria are met.
• Provide exceptional customer service and high-quality communication with prospective and current students.
• Respond to inbound and outbound phone and web-based enquiries within a reasonable timeframe (e.g., 48 hours).
• Complete Registrations, Pre-Training Reviews, and Enrolments with students via phone.
• Send and retrieve enrolment paperwork, ensuring it is checked and accurately recorded in the relevant system.
• Review enrolment paperwork for completion and compliance, addressing any concerns with the student or escalating as required.
• Meet and/or exceed daily KPIs/targets.
• Be reliable, punctual and consistent at all times.
• Perform all administration duties with diligence and accuracy.
• Assist with the implementation and maintenance of continuous improvement plans.
• Assist with internal audits as requested.
• Perform data administration when required/requested.
• Collaborate with the wider BAA team to deliver exceptional customer service across the student journey.
• Share information and potential issues with the team and management to maximize efficiency.
• Participate in team meetings and activities with respect and consideration.
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and respectful working environment aligned with the culture and values of Simonds Group.
• Keep up to date with all Simonds Group policies, practices, and procedures.
• Always act in the best interest of the company, in line with the Code of Conduct and Group policies.
• Any other duties as reasonably required/requested.
