Job Posting: Business Development Manager

Remote position. This is a remote position with salary open for discussion. About the Client: A leading international brand with operations across America, Asia, Europe, and Australia; manufacturing elevator-related equipment with ISO 9001 quality management systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead business development activities to expand the client base and market reach.
  • Identify and pursue new opportunities, build strong client relationships, and increase revenue.
  • Conduct market research, lead generation, client relationship management, and sales strategy development.
  • Bridge between company capabilities and market needs to align internal resources with external opportunities.

Role Focus and Timeline (illustrative milestones):

  • First 2 Weeks: Orientation on products, services, CRM, and current strategies; initial meetings with sales and marketing teams.
  • First Month: Set sales targets, conduct market analysis, develop a detailed BD strategy, begin outreach to potential clients.
  • First 90 Days: Generate and nurture leads, coordinate with CEO for high-level discussions, refine engagement strategies, and initiate training programs for new hires.
  • 180 Days: Transition to independently closing deals, address client needs with customized solutions, and adjust sales strategy as needed.
  • In a Year’s Time: Demonstrate growth in market reach and revenue; lead the team to exceed targets and foster continuous learning and improvement.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in business development or sales with a proven track record.
  • 1-2 years of leadership experience; effective team management and mentorship.
  • Experience in Engineering/Construction and elevator industries is highly prioritized.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software; Salesforce preferred but not required.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills; strong leadership and organizational abilities.

Home-Based Requirements:

  • Fast and reliable wired internet (not less than 50 Mbps).
  • Quiet, private home office; minimal background noise.
  • Updated computer, quality headset with microphone, and working webcam.
