Business Development Specialist (WFH and Nightshift) The Business Development Specialist is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and partners, and supporting the company’s growth strategy. This role involves researching market trends, developing leads, managing sales pipelines, and working cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and product teams to drive revenue. The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator with strong sales acumen and a passion for connecting solutions with customer needs. Production of qualified leads – Production of qualified leads in the targeted geographies and industries. Growing & Managing prospecting lists – working the existing lists in HubSpot and growing them via research. Orientation to Care: Autonomous : The ability to make and fulfill promises without a high degree of management intervention while not causing unforeseen issues at the margin of the project or another project. Resolved: Determined to successfully produce the specified project results. Accountable: Responsible for the ultimate delivery of the project to the business. Collaborative: Proactively seeks interaction with members of the project team and members outside the project team for the sake of producing the specified results of a project. Customer Focused: Proactively addressing customer concerns that add value to the project and/or business. Key Responsibilities Lead Generation: Identify, research, and develop new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, attending industry events, and leveraging digital channels. Sales Pipeline Management: Build and manage a pipeline of prospects from initial contact to closing, using CRM tools to track progress and performance. Client Relationship Management: Develop and nurture relationships with prospective and existing clients to understand their needs and position the company’s offerings effectively. Market Research: Conduct market analysis to identify trends, customer challenges, and competitor activity to inform strategy and product positioning. Proposal Development: Collaborate with internal teams to create compelling proposals, presentations, and solutions tailored to client needs. Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to align business development efforts with company objectives and product capabilities. Goal Achievement: Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets, contributing to the company’s overall revenue growth. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar client-facing role. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently. Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office. Knowledge of the industry and target market is a plus. Amenable to start ASAP.
