Overview Oversee end-to-end logistics processes including shipment planning, documentation, customs clearance, and delivery. Manage junior logistics team members (including virtual assistants) and ensure timely execution of tasks. Ensure shipments comply with U.S. Customs, FDA, USDA, and other relevant regulations. Resolve operational issues such as delays and customs holds. Liaise with freight forwarders, brokers, warehouses, and carriers. Interface with clients to provide shipment updates and resolve concerns. Identify and implement improvements to systems and workflows. Generate performance and KPI reports. Qualifications 5+ years in international freight forwarding/logistics operations. Deep understanding of U.S. import logistics and compliance. Familiarity with Incoterms, HS codes, and duties. Experience with TMS platforms like CargoWise or Magaya is a plus. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Detail-oriented and organized. Preferred Skills Experience with U.S.-based clients. Familiar with ocean and air freight logistics. Able to create/refine SOPs. Comfortable in fast-paced, entrepreneurial settings.
