Overview The Revenue Execution team is a key partner to the frontline Revenue team, serving as experts on renewal execution across D&R and RVS product portfolios. About The Role Grade Level (for internal use): 08 Associate, Revenue Execution. The role sits within the Revenue Execution team, which partners with the frontline Revenue team to drive renewal execution. You will work with multiple internal stakeholder teams to deliver successful revenue results aligned with organizational goals. The Impact This role is at the heart of driving revenue within the Market Intelligence Revenue organization. You will collaborate with internal teams to deliver renewal outcomes that support company goals. Responsibilities Serve as a partner and retention champion for Revenue leadership by utilizing the Customer Retention Framework to support account teams in all retention-related activities. Develop a deep understanding of the renewal process across the product portfolio and provide guidance to Account Managers as needed. Manage end-to-end retention processes, including renewal preparation, configuration of quotes, documentation creation and management, and billing coordination where applicable. Ensure contracts are generated with correct terms, pricing, and client information; obtain necessary approvals (Legal, Product, Solutions Engineering) to process renewals timely and in compliance with internal policies. Document renewal activity and forecast revenue in Salesforce for Senior Leadership. Identify and escalate risks or concerns in the renewal process and timelines; proactively recommend solutions. Coordinate with cross-functional partners on open items to ensure renewals are processed on time and escalate delays to Leadership as needed. Promote enablement tools and advise frontline teams on pricing, packaging, retention strategies, and opportunities for upselling and cross-selling. Ensure timely submission of agreements and facilitate the signature process; return countersigned agreements to clients promptly. Verify invoice accuracy and collaborate with the collections team on outstanding invoices, accommodating client PO requests where applicable. Disseminate monthly Accounts Receivable reports to Account Management teams to address latent payments before suspension. Pursue self-upskilling in company operations, processes, and systems to optimize effectiveness and client satisfaction. Provide backup support for team leads and management, and complete additional assignments as required. Collaborate with Account Management teams as a critical resource for the retention workflow and contribute to a positive work environment with proactive energy and flexibility. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of professional experience in SaaS or a similar environment Proven commitment to excellence, solving complex challenges, and delivering results with a positive, can-do attitude Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and a focus on innovation and efficiency Self-starter who takes initiative and drives independent execution Passion for continuous improvement and curiosity to explore new ways of working English fluency; client-facing experience with retention and negotiation is preferred Sales, Support, or Enablement background preferred Proficient in Salesforce, Excel, PowerPoint, and other data management and reporting tools About S&P Global Market Intelligence At S&P Global Market Intelligence, a division of S&P Global, we provide accurate, deep information and leading data and technology solutions to help customers make informed decisions.
