Responsibilities
- To survey and monitor customers’ needs for creative or innovative solutions in fulfilling their demands by identifying and generating new sales leads.
- To apply industry savviness of the food ingredients on markets knowledge, applications and acquisition of new / future trends development in the ingredients, final product markets and communicate the information effectively to customers for value added services.
- To identify, develop and expand on the new business market to widen the market based.
- To perform market research, analysis on the short- and long-term market trend in the industry, social and lifestyle trend based on consumer consumption trends.
- To build strong business rapport with clients and Key Account Clients with excellent value-added services.
- Setting and achieving sales goals and targets.
- To perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned from time to time.
- Possess at least a Degree in Applied Science (Food Technology / Food Science / Nutrition) or equivalent.
- At least 3 years working experience in the sales of food ingredients.
- Possess good communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Strong business acumen, independent, resourceful, motivated and result driven.
- Good command in English (writing and speaking).
- Proficient in MS Office.
