Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy (CPA license preferred).
  • Minimum 2 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in the hotel, hospitality, or service industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and BIR regulations.
  • Experience in hotel accounting systems / PMS / POS integration preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership, team management, and analytical skills.
  • High integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, general ledger, and revenue audit.
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP/IFRS and local statutory requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with BIR filings, tax regulations, permits, and other government reporting.
  • Oversee cash flow management, bank reconciliations, and credit control.
  • Implement and monitor internal control systems to safeguard hotel assets and prevent fraud.
  • Supervise, train, and evaluate the performance of accounting staff.
  • Coordinate with department heads regarding budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
  • Support the General Manager and Ownership in financial planning, cost control, and profitability strategies.
  • Act as the main liaison with external auditors, BIR examiners, and financial institutions.
  • Provide timely financial insights and recommendations to management.
