We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Chief Accountant to lead our accounting team. This role goes beyond managing numbers — it requires a leader who can drive strategic planning, strengthen internal controls, and provide financial insights that support the company's long-term growth.

As Chief Accountant, you will supervise a team of professionals, ensure compliance with regulations, and serve as a key partner to senior management in shaping business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting Management & Reporting

Ø Oversee and ensure the accuracy and integrity of Accounting records, ledgers, and reporting systems.

Ø Prepare timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Ø Provide variance analysis, financial forecasts, and management reports to support decision-making.

Budgeting & Strategic Planning

Ø Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring alignment with company goals.

Ø Monitor budget utilization and recommend corrective actions when necessary.

Ø Partner with Comptroller and Executive Management to provide financial insights that guide business strategies, investments, and resource allocation.

Taxation & Compliance

Ø Ensure compliance with BIR, SEC, and other regulatory requirements.

Ø Manage tax planning, filings, and audits to optimize efficiency and compliance.

Ø Serve as primary contact with external auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies.

Ø Internal Controls & Risk Management

Ø Develop and maintain robust internal controls, policies, and procedures.

Ø Mitigate financial risks by ensuring compliance with company standards and external regulations.

Ø Conduct regular audits and reviews to strengthen operational and financial safeguards.

Team Leadership & Development

Ø Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff to ensure high performance and professional growth.

Ø Allocate tasks, monitor progress, and review outputs of the accounting team.

Ø Foster a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement.

Process Improvement & Systems

Ø Drive process automation and system enhancements to improve efficiency.

Ø Evaluate and implement accounting software and reporting tools to support business needs.

Ø Standardize accounting procedures across departments for consistency and accuracy.

Qualifications

· CPA (Certified Public Accountant) license required.

· At least 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, with 2 years in a leadership/supervisory role.

· Strong background in financial reporting, tax compliance, and strategic financial management.

· Demonstrated experience in leading teams and contributing to strategic planning.

· Proficiency in accounting systems and advanced Excel skills.

· Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical abilities.
