Overview

The position is for an Accounts Receivable Accountant responsible for processing payments, invoicing, AR reporting, and related duties to support accurate and timely financial operations.

Duties/Tasks
  • Posting of incoming payments
  • Posting the correct counter departments for intercompany invoices
  • Checking the customers’ orders to be invoiced
  • Checking the content and correctness of invoices
  • Sending the invoice copies along with necessary documents to customers
  • Preparing and sending Accounts Receivable-related reports to the business controller
  • Preparing and sending statements of accounts/reminders to customers
  • Communicating with customers regarding follow-ups and responding to their queries
  • Preparing and sending interest notes to customers
  • Processing customer refunds of payments
  • Reconciling AR ledger reports
  • Keeping track of yearly PO service hours required and coordinating with department managers as possible
  • Assisting during audits
  • Performing other related tasks as required from time to time
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or any related field
  • Minimum of two (2) years working experience in accounting processes and ERP systems
  • Knowledge of general accounting procedures and principles
  • Experience in multicultural or shared services environments is an advantage
  • Working knowledge and experience with relevant ERP, IT software and systems supporting accounting processes
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle confidential information
  • Action- and result-oriented with customer focus and business insight
  • Ability to take initiative and ownership with analytical judgment within scope
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with counterparts
  • Ability to work independently or in a team and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Structured, accurate, systematic, and committed to delivering quality output within deadlines
  • Good oral and written English communication skills
  • Motivated to facilitate and contribute to the company’s growth
