Overview

Accounts receivable Associate are ensuring that clients are properly billed for goods or services. They work with other departments to ensure that the correct amounts are collected in a timely manner, verify and record transactions, resolve account discrepancies, and perform other tasks to secure client payments.

Responsibilities
  • Gather and verify invoices for appropriate documentation prior to payment
  • Maintain accounts receivable records to ensure aging is up to date, credits and collections are applied, uncollectible amounts are accounted for, and miscellaneous differences are cleared
  • Perform daily cash management duties, including the recording of bank deposits, updating and distribution of cash receipt logs, and posting of cash to the accounts receivable sub-ledger
  • Monitor and collect accounts receivable by contacting clients via telephone, email, and mail
  • Prepare analytical and ratio analyses relevant to AR so management can gain a better understanding of how collection efforts are progressing
  • Support other accounting and finance team members, inventory management, and cost accounting
Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in Accountancy, Finance or any related field
  • With at least 1-2 years working experience in AR
  • Experience in distribution, manufacturing or trading is a must
  • Knowledge of AR processes, billing systems and collection procedures
  • Familiarity with local tax regulations and BIR compliance is a plus
  • Proficient in MS Offices or Software (Quick books, Sap, Pinnacle,Oracle Odoo or ERP System)
  • Location: Brgy. La Paz, Makati City
