Claims Specialist role at MicroSourcing Position: Claims Specialist Work Type: Full-time Location: Two E-Com Center, Mall of Asia, Pasay City, Philippines Shift: Onsite | Night shift What You'll Have Competitive Rewards : Enjoy above-market compensation, healthcare coverage on day one, plus one or more dependents, paid time-off with cash conversion, group life insurance, and performance bonuses A Collaborative Spirit : Contribute to a positive and engaging work environment by participating in company-sponsored events and activities Work-Life Harmony : Enjoy the balance between work and life with flexible work arrangements Career Growth : Take advantage of opportunities for continuous learning and career advancement Inclusive Teamwork : Be part of a team that celebrates diversity and fosters an inclusive culture Your Role A Claims Specialist is expected to do: Do outbound calls to clients (0-5+ calls per month) to follow up on items that need clarification or are missing, including emails, phone calls, and other forms of communication Prepare and review tax organizers to gather information for filing 1040 individual tax returns, business tax returns, amended tax returns, and state tax returns for past or current years Assist Tax Preparers with reviewing IRS Transcripts to confirm all income has been entered into tax software Review client documents and ensure all necessary documents are received or requested and properly entered in the client’s case file (W2s, 1099s, expenses, etc.) Collaborate regularly with various teams to deliver the best possible outcome on tax returns prepared Assist Tax Preparers by entering data from client documents into the Tax Software program Review tax returns to ensure no signatures are missing to process a tax return to the IRS/State entities Perform other related duties as assigned by management What You Need Experience in working in the Finance industry or have handled medical authorizations, billing, or someone who has worked in finance Must have experience with outbound calls, emails and client communications Must be proficient in speaking English, with meticulous attention to detail and high sense of accountability Must be willing to work onsite in MOA doing night shift Preferred skills/expertise Background in medical authorizations and billing, or someone who has worked in finance Experience in working for the tax industry (Not Required) Strong multitasker Excellent organizational, time-management, written, and communication skills Meticulous attention to detail and high sense of accountability Self-starter, industrious, and motivated Ability to remain focused and productive in a fast-paced environment Strong work ethic and commitment to excellence About MicroSourcing With over 9,000 professionals across 13 delivery centers, MicroSourcing is the pioneer and largest offshore provider of managed services in the Philippines.
