Job Overview

We are looking for a Patient Eligibility Verification Specialist for our Voice Program, who will be responsible for verifying patients' insurance coverage and eligibility under Medicaid and Medicare. The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and experience handling patient verification calls in a healthcare or BPO setting.


Key Responsibilities
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls to verify patient insurance coverage and benefits.
  • Confirm eligibility details for Medicaid, Medicare, and other insurance plans.
  • Document verification results accurately in the system and update patient records.
  • Coordinate with providers, insurance representatives, and patients to resolve coverage issues.
  • Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and company policies.
  • Meet performance targets for accuracy, call handling, and productivity.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in Patient Eligibility Verification (Medicaid/Medicare).
  • Experience working in a voice process within the healthcare or BPO industry.
  • Excellent verbal communication and listening skills.
  • Proficient in navigating multiple systems and healthcare databases.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Willing to work in rotational shifts (if applicable).

Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge of U.S. healthcare insurance terms and processes.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations.
  • Experience in prior authorization or claims processing is an advantage.
