Position Summary

The Manager of Cloud Solutions oversees a team of engineers tasked with executing professional service engagements. They focus on performance development, Pax8 values, and process improvements.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Promotes and enforces Pax8 values. Performs regular performance reviews to develop talents and career growth.
  • Collaborates with the PMO to ensure projects meet timeline and SOW requirements.
  • Ensures the team has access to training and development.
  • Undertakes special projects as needed.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with interdepartmental stakeholders, and a high-performing team on a budget.
  • Collaborates with ProServe leadership on project scoping, rates, and billable hours.
  • Oversees day-to-day execution of Technical Engagement strategy; coaches Delivery and Advisory teams.
  • Acts as escalation point/mentor for team leaders and members.

Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies

  • At least 2 years of people management experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft platform and related technologies (Active Directory, Exchange, SharePoint, Microsoft networking).
  • Expertise in public cloud technologies (Azure, GCP, AWS; preferably Azure).
  • Experience in a professional service role; ability to own difficult situations through to completion.
  • Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to mentor and develop others; consult with technical and business stakeholders; manage ambiguous situations.

Required Education & Certifications

  • B.A./B.S. in related field or equivalent work experience.

Work Environment

Professional office environment. Remote/hybrid work requires secure, private internet access.

Travel Requirements

Infrequent travel expected.

Reports to: Director of ProServe

Location

Location: Pax8 global HQ with remote/hybrid options as applicable per policy.
