Overview

ZHUBAJIE PREMIUM RESTAURANT is seeking an experienced and visionary Head Chef to join our culinary team in our restaurant located in the heart of Makati City. As Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations, from menu planning and recipe development to budgeting and staff management. This is a full-time role with competitive salary and benefits.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the kitchen team in the preparation and presentation of high-quality, innovative dishes
  • Develop and refine the restaurant\'s menu, taking into account seasonal ingredients, customer preferences, and food trends
  • Ensure consistency in the preparation and presentation of all menu items
  • Implement and maintain food safety and hygiene standards
  • Manage the kitchen budget and inventory to maximise efficiency and profitability
  • Train, supervise, and motivate the kitchen staff to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Collaborate with the front-of-house team to enhance the overall dining experience
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years\' experience as a Head Chef or in a similar senior culinary leadership role
  • Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, menu planning, and budgeting
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • A passion for using fresh, high-quality ingredients and creating innovative, flavourful dishes
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high food safety and hygiene standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with the front-of-house team
  • Experience in a Korean Restaurant is a plus.
