Location Bluewater Maribago is situated on the east shore of Mactan Island, specifically at Maribago Bay. The area is known for its pristine waters, thanks to the consistent flow of currents of the Hilutungan Channel. The channel’s depth, approximately 300 fathoms (about 550 meters), makes it a hub for Cebu’s renowned diving and snorkeling spots. Many resorts, including Bluewater Maribago, are strategically placed along this scenic shoreline, offering guests easy access to relaxation and aquatic adventures amidst the natural beauty of Mactan Island. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Sous Chef located in Cebu. The Sous Chef will collaborate with the head chef to develop and execute menu items, oversee kitchen operations, ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained, and manage kitchen staff. Additional day-to-day tasks include coordinating food orders, supervising food preparation, and maintaining inventory levels. The Sous Chef will also be involved in training new kitchen staff and ensuring that all dishes are prepared with high-quality standards.
