Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Billing and Collection Assistant to support our finance team in managing billing, collection, and reconciliation processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and problem-solving skills, work independently, and handle customer interactions professionally.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the preparation and issuance of billing statements to clients.
- Monitor accounts receivable and ensure timely collection of payments.
- Reconcile and record customer payments accurately into the system.
- Maintain up-to-date records of customer payment statuses.
- Prepare and submit collection-related reports as required.
- Communicate with clients regarding outstanding balances, payment disputes, and inquiries.
- Work with the finance team to resolve billing discrepancies.
- Establish and maintain good relationships with customers.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of financial records.
- Previous experience in billing, collections, or a related field is an advantage.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and any relevant accounting/billing software.
- Trustworthy and professional demeanor with high attention to detail.
