The Sustainability Supervisor is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing sustainability programs across restaurant and processing plant operations. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with environmental regulations while leading initiatives that improve resource efficiency, strengthen waste management practices, and advance overall sustainability performance. Key Responsibilities 1. Operational Understanding & Strategy Develop a strong understanding of restaurant, retail, and processing plant operations. Evaluate and recommend sustainability strategies that can be effectively applied across restaurant and processing plant activities. 2. Sustainability Projects & Compliance Lead the planning and implementation of sustainability initiatives focused on energy efficiency, resource optimization, waste reduction, and circular economy practices. Oversee compliance with the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) Law, including accurate plastic footprint reporting, coordination with stakeholders, and timely submission of ECAR reports. 3. Audits & Monitoring Conduct sustainability audits for restaurant operations and, when applicable, Bounty’s processing plants. Track, monitor, and ensure the timely renewal of environmental permits and compliance with all regulatory requirements for restaurants and processing plants. 4. Collaboration & Reporting Coordinate with internal teams, regulatory bodies, and sustainability partners to ensure the effective execution of sustainability initiatives. Prepare, maintain, and present reports on sustainability performance, audit findings, and compliance status to management. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, or related field. At least 1-2 years of experience in sustainability, environmental compliance, or corporate social responsibility. Strong knowledge of environmental laws and regulations (e.g., Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, EPR Law, waste management, permitting requirements). Experience in sustainability auditing, reporting, and project management. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Strong attention to detail and compliance focus. Ability to lead projects and work with cross-functional teams. Commitment to sustainability and continuous improvement. #J-18808-Ljbffr
