Your Role

As an AU QA and Safety Supervisor, you are responsible for:

QMS Management & Improvement:

  • Develop, create, and maintain the Quality System and all associated Quality Documents (Manuals, Procedures, Work Instructions).
  • Track, record, and statistically analyze QMS data, preparing monthly and annual quality reports for Management and KPI meetings.
  • Continually improve processes, procedures, and the Quality System as a whole, actively seeking and developing more efficient methods.

Assurance & Control:

  • Develop Quality Assurance plans by conducting hazard analyses and identifying critical control points.
  • Oversee product development and manufacturing to identify deviations, eliminate substandard products, and determine the root cause of quality issues.
  • Investigate customer feedback to assess requirement fulfillment and address deficiencies.
  • Ensure manufacturing processes comply with national/international standards.

Audit & Compliance Leadership (ISO 9001:2015):

  • Plan, lead, and document annual Internal Audits and manage the annual External Audit for ISO 9001:2015.
  • Act as the primary liaison with external certification bodies.
  • Ensure adherence to HSE regulations and legal obligations.
  • Develop and maintain a Safety Audit Program, conduct regular safety audits, and assist in incident investigations and root cause analysis.

Training & Supplier Management:

  • Determine training needs and train staff (new and production line) in proper practices, quality assessment, and disposal procedures.
  • Manage and monitor supplier quality and compliance, collaborating with the Purchasing Officer on evaluation.

Team Collaboration & Reporting:

  • Hold a fortnightly Quality Reporting Meeting and actively participate in production meetings.
  • Support the Leadership Team with data for monitoring, measurement, analysis, and evaluation (MMAE) of IMS performance.
  • Enforce company policies and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions for all reported hazards/incidents.

Qualifications
:

  • Experience: 5 years of experience in management.
  • Education: Tertiary Qualification in Quality Management, Commerce, or Engineering.
  • Knowledge: Solid knowledge in Quality Assurance processes.
  • Skills: Strong leadership capabilities, problem-solving skills, and strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Personal Attributes: Meticulous to details and focused, with the ability to work in a group environment.
  • Advantageous: Manufacturing experience.
