Assistant Manager for VIP Host Operations

Summary: The Host Operations Assistant Manager oversees the Host Operations department, ensuring seamless service delivery and VIP satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist management and cover Host Operations Manager duties when absent.
  • Stay up-to-date on policies and procedures, and maintain a good understanding of other departments' operational standards.
  • Execute casino programs, events, and promotions as stipulated by sales and marketing management.
  • Submit daily and weekly reports as required.
  • Collect and report data for risk and audit compliance.
  • Uphold the highest standards of appearance, communication, and cooperation within the department and externally.
  • Identify and communicate with relevant departments about VIP needs.
  • Provide feedback on areas for improvement to ensure exceptional service delivery.
  • Handle complaints and disputes professionally and efficiently.
  • Audit billable accounts and track buy-ins and settlements.
  • Monitor and enforce departmental KPIs and targets.
  • Ensure staff are informed about Gaming Operations policies and procedures, and company policies and regulations.
  • Maintain discipline and proper behavioral traits among team members.
  • Monitor and provide feedback on team members' performance, and conduct coaching and counseling.
  • Develop and empower team members.
  • Energize team members to adapt to change when necessary.

Requirements:

  • At least two years of college education.
  • At least two years of relevant experience in the Hospitality and Gaming industry.
  • At least one year of experience in managing a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Good knowledge of casino system processes, policies, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in office applications.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build good working relationships and deal with diverse individuals.
  • Organized and detail-oriented.
  • Strong leadership characteristics to delegate tasks, influence, motivate, and develop team members.
