About the Role: Associate, Client Support in the Capital Markets department

The Team:

Join a team that enhances your financial expertise, S&P product knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and professional communication skills. Be part of the Capital Markets Client Services team, assisting clients in resolving issues, interpreting data, and navigating Capital IQ and Capital IQ Pro platforms. Collaborating within the team is crucial. Client Services also collaborates with internal teams such as Sales, Content, Product, and Technical Support.

Responsibilities and Impact:

After a comprehensive 1-2 month training and guidance period, you will provide client support via phone, web chats, and emails. In addition to client communication skills, you will undergo in-depth data training, participate in group projects, understand customer segments, and explore other S&P Global platforms. Completion of certification exams and a thorough evaluation process to assess skills and capabilities are mandatory.

This role is designed to offer hands-on training and networking opportunities to prepare you for a successful career in S&P Global's Market Intelligence sector. It aims to attract top talent from diverse undergraduate backgrounds.

What We're Looking For:

  • A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or economics is preferred.
  • Open to learning about Corporate Finance.
  • Previous 1-2 years of client support experience is advantageous, but fresh graduates are welcome.
  • Must be available to join a new hires' class in July 2024.
  • Relationship Management skills: Enthusiastic about building relationships with finance professionals and eager to work in the financial services sector.
  • Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Communication: Strong customer service and communication skills to address client issues and boost SPGMI product adoption.
  • Proficiency: Effective problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills are essential.
  • Willingness to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays on a rotational basis but with only 5 working days per week.
  • Must be willing to work during US business hours/night shifts.
