Lead Customer Success Manager

MAIN AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY:

The primary responsibility of a Customer Success Manager (CSM) is to develop long term partnerships with Sprout's customers to ensure they remain successful by realizing the full value of their investment with Sprout. Adoption, retention, and advocacy are key initiatives for the CSM.

TASKS:

  • Ensure that clients are maximizing the value they get from Sprout by either maximizing their current subscription or availing add-ons relevant to clients' needs (Upsells).
  • Create renewal, upsell strategies and focus on selling with retention as a priority.
  • Personally manage escalations from clients, and follow a methodical escalation process to executives.
  • Deepen understanding of our clients through monthly health checks, quarterly business reviews and other campaigns.
  • Understand clients' KPIs and objectives and exhaust all resources by coordinating with other departments to yield results.
  • Own key metrics for the team such as renewal rate, up-sell target, customer satisfaction survey score
  • Execute proactive engagements with clients thus driving more value
  • Create standard presentation materials for business meetings

QUALIFICATIONS | COMPETENCIES:

  • At least 2 years experience in account management, preferably in the software industry
  • Has a track record of being a high achiever and a results driven professional
  • Strong empathy for customers and passion for revenue and growth
  • Has analytical, collaborative, solutions, and process oriented mindset
  • Ability to command a group of individuals in a room quickly and be assertive in a public environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to work and effectively collaborate with all levels of the organization (growth, marketing, professional services).
  • Ability to work in an entrepreneurial environment in a team and individually.
