Responsibilities:

  • Help own all collection's related efforts in the Philippines, including collecting on top level accounts.
  • Oversee and manage the accounting functions and operations related to accounts receivable process.
  • Ownership of the monthly A/R close process and accuracy of invoices and cash applications.
  • Manage the monthly reconciliation of other A/R-related accounts (such as unapplied cash, deposit accounts, unclaimed credits, clearing, accrual, bad debt, charge-backs)
  • Review collection reports to ascertain status of collections and balances outstanding
  • Evaluate effectiveness of current collection policies and procedures
  • Establish and build business processes and maintain effective workflows and operating procedures
  • Collaborate with Account Executives, Customers, and others as necessary to research and resolve customer account and contractual issues
  • Support the periodic internal and external audits of the receivables processes.
  • Take a leadership role in identifying system and process improvements and enhancements
  • Provide excellent customer service while resolving customer inquiries in a timely manner
  • Manage and mentor a team of A/R Specialists in the Philippines
  • Evaluate and implement process enhancements and efficiencies to support scaling of the business.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting or related areas
  • 5+ years of related professional experience in Accounts Receivable / Billing
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise and motivate team
  • Advance understanding of US GAAP
  • Accounting software technical proficiency with NetSuite, QBO, Braintree, and Salesforce desired
  • Advanced Excel knowledge including understanding of data structures, data preparation and reconciliation in multiple system environments
