We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Specialist with a passion for B2B SaaS. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships with Mid-size Enterprises. As a Business Development Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence, building relationships and closing deals to offer our innovative products and services.

WHAT YOU DO

(1) Opportunity Hunting:

  • Identify business prospects within the Mid-Market segment, focusing on understanding customer needs and requirements.
  • Generate opportunities and cultivate a robust pipeline of potential clients using diverse channels such as networking, cold calling, and online research.

(2) Networking & Partnerships:

  • Cultivate and sustain relationships with strategic partners.
  • Establish a network of new partnerships through participation in events, conferences, and various communication channels.

(3) Proposal Development: Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to craft compelling proposals and presentations for clients, effectively showcasing the value proposition of our products and services.

(4) Participation in the Closing Process with the Team:

  • Assist the team in negotiating contracts and actively contribute to strategic discussions to ensure efficiency and mutual benefit.
  • Ensure that contract terms align with the specific needs of clients and the company.

(5) Market Research: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential business opportunities and industry trends.

(6) Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to align business development efforts with overall company goals.

(7) Reporting: Provide regular reports on business development activities, progress, and key performance indicators to the management team.

WHO YOU ARE

  • 3 - 5 years of experience in Business Development at a fast growing SaaS Software Company with a proven track record of exceeding quota in software sales with mid-size enterprises in Manila or Kuala Lumpur (preference for candidates who are locals).
  • Proven history of acquiring new business via direct sales model across enterprise technology customers.
  • Strong networking and partnership-building skills; proven ability in opportunity hunting (Opps hunting) and contributing to the closing process within a team.
  • Excellent team collaboration skills and the ability to contribute to negotiations and contract closure.
  • A positive, persistent, and professional can-do attitude.
  • The ability to succeed with limited supervision.
