Organizational Setting and Reporting Relationship

The position of IT Specialist (AI Forward Deployed Engineer) is within the Digital for Development Operations Division (ITOP) in the Information Technology Department, based at our Headquarters in Manila, Philippines.

You will report to Director, ITOP.

Your Role

As an IT Specialist (AI Forward Deployed Engineer) at the Asian Development Bank (ADB), you'll be utilizing advanced AI technologies, particularly Large Language Models, to address challenges in collaboration with stakeholders. Your role involves problem-solving, creativity, and technical expertise to integrate Enterprise AI solutions and craft innovative products.

You will:

• Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and obstacles
• Design and implement AI applications using cutting-edge machine learning techniques
• Train, validate, and deploy AI models in real-world settings
• Uphold AI models for optimal performance
• Integrate big data engineering principles into AI solutions
• Implement data pipelines for efficient data processing
• Optimize scalability and performance of AI Products through effective architecture design
• Oversee the technical lifecycle of products
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders
• Stay updated on the latest AI technology advancements

Qualifications

You will need:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or computer engineering
• Over 8 years of experience with at least 3 years in AI product development
• Proficiency in B2B Enterprise SaaS applications
• Expertise in machine learning and deep learning
• Experience in software application development and deployment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
• Passion for AI and its impact
• Initiative and desire for ownership

Additional Information

This is a fixed-term appointment with the option to renew for an initial period of two years. Internal and external applicants are welcome.
