  • Gather and consolidate financial data related to shoes and apparel sales.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial information.
  • Analyze profit and loss statements, identifying key trends and variances.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to interpret financial results.

Reporting:

  • Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports to the Specialty Stores Business Unit.
  • Act as a liaison between the business unit and the Mall Accounting Department.

Budget Monitoring:

  • Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets for the shoes and apparel segment.
  • Provide insights to support effective budget management.
  • Work closely with internal teams to understand business processes and contribute to decision-making.
  • Act as a bridge between the Specialty Stores Business Unit and the Mall Accounting Department.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Management Accounting or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a similar role within the retail industry.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles and management accounting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in data analysis tools and Microsoft Excel.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and precision.

The retail success story of the Gaisano family started with the family matriarch, the late Doña Modesta Gaisano. She started the retail chain in the 1970's on the ground floor of a rented house turned small restaurant-cum-shop in Colon, Cebu which later became the White Gold Store, the predecessor of the Gaisano Malls. In the late 1980's, the company opened branches. With an experience spanning more than 30 years in the Philippine retail industry, it currently has a portfolio of 5 large shopping malls (GMall of Davao, GMall of Tagum, GMall of Toril, GMall of Digos and GMall of GenSan), 7 department stores, and 8 supermarkets. All establishments are named and marketed under the GMalls brand.
