Duties and Responsibilities:

Researching suppliers and vendors that meet the company and clients’ needs at the right price while considering quality, lead time and payment termsResponsible for ensuring that suppliers go through the process of due diligence i.e that have the right certifications, accreditation, and insurance, along with a steady stream of materials that fit within budgetReviewing and negotiating contracts and payment terms with suppliers and vendorsFulfilling requests for proposals (RFPs)Preparing quotes based on client requestsCreating and distribute purchase ordersResponsible for tracking, receiving, and managing all items ordered including existing inventoryAssists in the scheduling, routing and oversight of lead drivers’ activitiesArrange for the service vehicle and logistics support requirements of requesting departments with accredited third-party provider and ensure proper charging/billingEnsuring that all billings are processed and requested for payment in a timely and accurate mannerKeeping delivery reports updatedParticipating in the review and standardization of operating procedures for purchasing and logistics processesOther duties that may be assigned by the Managing Director
