About the role

This is a full-time opportunity as a Food Safety and Quality Document Controller at Markenburg International Foods Corp.', a leading food manufacturing company located in Marilao Bulacan. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing all food safety and quality-related documentation to ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.

What you'll be doing

  1. Implement and maintain an effective document control system for all food safety and quality records
  2. Ensure accurate and timely filing, storage, and retrieval of documents
  3. Conduct regular audits of document management processes and recommend improvements
  4. Provide support in preparing for internal and external quality and safety audits
  5. Assist in the development and revision of food safety and quality procedures and policies
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address document control issues
  7. Provide training to employees on document control best practices

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 2 years of experience in document control, preferably in the food manufacturing industry
  2. Strong knowledge of food safety and quality management systems, such as HACCP, ISO, HALAL, SEDEX, SMETA and BRCGS is a plus
  3. Excellent organizational and attention to detail skills
  4. Proficient in using document management software and Microsoft Office applications and Google Sheets
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  6. Strong communication and problem-solving skills
