Key Responsibilities:- Act as the first point of contact for safety-related matters within the warehouse.
- Monitor daily warehouse operations to identify unsafe conditions or behaviors.
- Enforce compliance with safety policies, PPE requirements, and operational procedures.
- Conduct routine safety inspections and audits; report findings to management.
- Assist in incident investigations and prepare detailed reports.
- Support emergency preparedness plans, including fire drills and evacuation procedures.
- Maintain safety signage, first aid kits, fire extinguishers, and other safety equipment.
- Deliver or support safety inductions and toolbox talks for warehouse staff.
- Liaise with the Health and Safety Officer or Manager on policy updates and risk assessments.
- Encourage a culture of safety through positive reinforcement and awareness programs.
- Record and report near misses, hazards, and incidents promptly.
