Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.

  • Experience:

  • Minimum of 2-4 years of progressive experience in payroll processing, with a significant portion of that experience managing end-to-end payroll in the Philippines.

  • Proven experience working with and managing an outsourced payroll administration provider is highly preferred.
  • Solid understanding of Philippine labor laws (Labor Code), tax regulations (TRAIN Law), and statutory contributions (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG).

  • Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in payroll software/HRIS systems (e.g., SAP, DarwinBox, or local payroll systems).

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis).
  • Experience with general ledger reconciliation and accounting principles related to payroll.

  • Soft Skills:

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise discretion.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Desired Attributes:

  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or similar certification is a plus.
  • Experience with multinational companies or shared service environments.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions:

  • Primarily office-based work
  • May require occasional extended hours during peak payroll processing periods or month-end/year-end closing.
