PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The Automation Specialist will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automated solutions to optimize payroll and HR operational processes. This role will focus heavily on leveraging
Alteryx
and other automation tools (such as UiPath, Power Automate, and Power Apps) to enhance efficiency, standardize workflows, and ensure compliance with
client's IT, privacy, and governance standards
.

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented problem solver with strong analytical and technical skills, capable of transforming complex manual processes into scalable automated workflows that improve accuracy, efficiency, and employee experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement
  automated solutions for payroll and HR processes using
  Alteryx
  and other automation platforms (UiPath, Power Automate, Power Apps).
• Analyze existing payroll workflows
  to identify automation opportunities and propose process enhancements aligned with business goals.
• Ensure compliance
  of all automation initiatives with client's global IT, data privacy, and regulatory standards.
• Drive process standardization and harmonization
  across countries and regions to achieve operational consistency and efficiency.
• Collaborate cross-functionally
  with global and regional teams, including the Automation Team, Global Payroll, Internal Audit (IA) Team, and local payroll partners, to ensure seamless rollout and adoption of automation solutions.
• Serve as a trusted advisor
  to payroll teams, providing technical guidance and automation expertise to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and employee experience (the "3 E's").
• Coordinate with the Automation Lead
  to manage project timelines, deliverables, and resource planning for ongoing and upcoming initiatives.
• Document process workflows, automation logic, and maintenance procedures
  to support knowledge transfer and sustainability.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience
  in process automation, preferably within HR, payroll, or finance functions.
• Strong hands-on experience in
  Alteryx Designer and Server
  (data transformation, workflow design, and optimization).
• Working knowledge of
  UiPath
  ,
  Power Automate
  , and/or
  Power Apps
  is a plus.
• Experience with
  data integration, validation, and transformation
  from multiple sources.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Strong collaboration and communication abilities, with experience working in a global or cross-functional environment.
• Familiarity with
  Agile project management
  is preferred.
