The Role: Payroll and Compliance Officer

Job Summary: The Payroll and Compliance Officer is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll-related activities. This role involves handling employee records, government registrations, remittances, and coordination with internal departments to maintain compliance with statutory requirements and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll requirements, including ATM payroll applications for newly hired employees.
  • Handle company registration and renewal of business permits, as well as compliance certifications with government agencies such as SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and PEZA.
  • Facilitate Tax Identification Number (TIN) registration for new employees.
  • Assist in the preparation and release of final pay computations for separated employees.
  • Prepare and submit remittance reports for government contributions (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG).
  • Verify and cross-check government identification numbers and employment details of new hires.
  • Coordinate with Workforce/Operations teams to review and update employee schedules and timesheet regularly to ensure payroll accuracy.
  • Maintain accurate employee payroll records and ensure confidentiality of payroll data.
  • Provide support in the preparation of tax annualization reports and the employee alpha list for tax regulations.
  • Assist in audits, reconciliations, and other payroll-related reports as required.
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned by the Payroll Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources management, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in payroll administration and government compliance
  • Knowledge of government compliance and reporting (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR).
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and payroll systems.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php50, Php60,000.00 per month
