What you'll be doing

  • Perform a range of accounting and bookkeeping tasks including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance
  • Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
  • Prepare financial reports, statements, and analyses to support decision-making
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies
  • Provide support to the finance team and collaborate with other departments as needed

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong time management and organizational abilities to handle multiple tasks and deadlines
