Job Summary:

The Chat Support Trainee will focus on managing client and contractor inquiries, communications, and registrations through chat, email, and phone calls. This role combines customer support with proactive sales assistance, ensuring that inquiries are not only answered but also converted into confirmed registrations or transactions.

The trainee will learn how to handle professional communication, lead nurturing, and client follow-ups, with the goal of building strong service and sales skills. This position is an entry pathway to becoming a Customer Experience Associate or Sales Support Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to client and contractor inquiries via chat, email, and calls in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist in explaining services, pricing, schedules, and requirements clearly.
  • Guide clients and contractors through the registration and confirmation process.
  • Ensure that inquiries don't just end at communication, but proceed to actual sign-ups or confirmed actions.
  • Escalate complex inquiries to senior staff while maintaining clear communication with clients.
  • Keep accurate logs of conversations, registrations, and follow-ups in the system.
  • Assist in maintaining FAQ, canned responses, and communication templates.
  • Support both customer service tasks (answering, guiding) and sales-focused tasks (encouraging registration, upselling when relevant).
  • Provide regular feedback on common issues, questions, and improvement opportunities.
  • Perform other communication-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • At least a high school diploma; ongoing college or recent graduate is welcome.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Filipino.
  • Basic computer literacy (chat apps, email, MS Office/Google Workspace).
  • Friendly, professional, and client-focused personality.
  • Interest in customer service and sales support.
  • Willing to learn structured communication techniques and lead conversion practices.
  • Previous experience in customer service or chat support is a plus but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php Php700.00 per day
