Accounts Payable Officer

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 6am to 3pm (PHT)

Work setup: 1 month Onsite then transition to Hybrid. ( 2x office 3x wfh)

Job Type: Permanent

Accounts Payable Officer

  • Work closely with the team based in Sydney
  • Management of all payment cycle activities, including coordinating payments to vendors in compliance with internal policies and procedures
  • Handle customer queries and concerns
  • Monitor and manage Accounts inbox
  • Process accounting transactions using NetSuite system
  • Assist with full month-end accounting
  • Escalate if there's an issue that needs to be addressed
  • Maintain and update process documentation
  • Attends to any ad hoc tasks that may be assigned from time-to-time Accounts Payable
  • Processing invoices, reconciliations, and payments across
  • Manage AP software to ensure accurate coding and internal compliance
  • Generate payment list for approval
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of expense claims
  • Deliver remittances to vendors and maintain proper records
  • Set up new vendors along with all necessary information
  • Liaise with vendors to resolve payment issues or discrepancies
  • Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations Accounts Receivable
  • Raise and deliver invoices to clients
  • Maintain invoices, contracts, and internal correspondence in ERP system
  • Resolve invoice issues, customer billing inquiries, and/or disputes in a timely manner
  • Providing excellent customer service through assisting clients and head office to resolve their queries
  • Attends to any ad hoc task that may assigned from time to time.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • 5 years' experience in accounts payable and receivable, billing, or finance support
  • Experience with Netsuite or similar cloud-based accounting systems
  • Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to pivot between finance and support tasks as required
  • A team player who can adapt in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
