About the role

Join the dynamic team at GJH SERCONS, INC. as a Pollution Control Officer. This full-time role, based in Silang Cavite, is responsible for overseeing and managing the company's environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives. As a key member of the Environmental Engineering team, you will play a crucial part in upholding the company's commitment to environmental protection and stewardship.

What you'll be doing

  • Developing, implementing, and monitoring pollution control programs and policies to ensure compliance with all relevant environmental regulations
  • Conducting regular audits and inspections to identify and address potential environmental risks
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement sustainable practices and initiatives across the organization
  • Providing technical expertise and guidance on environmental issues to senior management and other stakeholders
  • Reporting on environmental performance and metrics to internal and external stakeholders
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest environmental regulations and best practices in the industry
  • Leading and coordinating environmental training and awareness programs for employees

What we're looking for

  • A bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in a pollution control or environmental management role, preferably in the manufacturing or industrial sector
  • Thorough understanding of environmental regulations, policies, and best practices
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply
  • Must have 40 hours BOSH training/certificate.
  • Proficiency in environmental monitoring and reporting tools and software
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
