Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Document Controller, preferably in the construction or engineering industry
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing documents.
  • Ensure proper document control support is given to each project.
  • Receive, review, log, and distribute all incoming and outgoing correspondence and project documents such as drawings, contracts, reports, permits, and specifications.
  • Use document control software or systems (such as Aconex, Procore, or SharePoint) for tracking, filing, and retrieval.
  • Ensure all documentation complies with company and project standards.
  • Maintain version control of documents to avoid redundancy and miscommunication.
  • Liaise with engineers, architects, subcontractors, and project managers to collect or distribute documentation.
  • Archive hard copies and ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Support audits and ensure timely retrieval of documents.
  • Train project team members on document control procedures when needed.
