Job Description

As a Senior Billing Analyst, you'll manage and optimize the entire billing lifecycle across retail and wholesale telecom operations. From ensuring invoice accuracy to resolving complex billing issues, you'll play a key role in maintaining data integrity, compliance, and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.

The Qualifications We Seek

• At least 3-5 years of experience as a Billing Specialist in AU telco or a similar role
• Good understanding of Australian Telco billing and pricing processes and systems
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
• Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to process improvement
• Strong team player with excellent time-management skills
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience in disputing invoices and resolving complex service issues

• Strong communication (writing, speaking, and active listening)
• Skilled in reconciling and reviewing disputed invoices
• Proficient in calculating price variance for incorrect billing
• Excellent customer service skills (patience, empathy, and interpersonal connection)
• Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and critical thinking
• Exceptional organization, time management, and prioritization abilities
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and data security

Your Daily Tasks

• Assist in the billing process for the entire telecom group, including retail and wholesale brands
• Handle and analyze daily billing cases from retail and wholesale customers
• Manage monthly invoice analysis, validation, and approval of billing cycles
• Review carrier invoices and claims data; identify and report discrepancies
• Generate periodic reports formatted according to client requirements
• Participate in ad-hoc projects, audits, and clean-ups
• Create analytical reports and present findings to senior managers
• Support internal audits and implement controls to prevent revenue leakage
• Ensure services ordered are billed accurately and align with business systems
• Maintain strong communication with internal customers and partners
• Detect errors in billing processes and implement corrections
• Collaborate with departments such as Customer Support, Sales, Data, and Voice Delivery
