About the Role
We are looking for a Customer Service Representativewho will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring timely, accurate, and efficient coordination of logistics transactions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, service-driven, and experienced in handling logistics operations such as delivery monitoring, shipment tracking, and issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the main liaison between clients and operations, providing updates on shipment status, delivery schedules, and documentation.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and service requests through phone, email, and chat in a professional and timely manner.
- Coordinate with internal teams — warehousing, trucking, dispatch, and billing — to ensure seamless logistics transactions.
- Monitor shipments from pick-up to delivery, proactively addressing delays or issues to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Maintain and update the Customer Order Tracking System and prepare daily or weekly status reports.
- Process and verify delivery receipts, waybills, invoices, and other documentation as needed.
- Support account management and retention efforts by ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Escalate operational or service issues to supervisors for resolution and continuous process improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field (preferred but not required).
- 1–2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in a logistics, courier, or supply chain environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — both written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in MS Office and familiar with logistics tracking systems or CRM tools.
- Willing to work on shifting schedules or weekends if required by operations.
