The Registration Staff is responsible for providing efficient and accurate registration, and administrative support within the Emergency Room (ER).

Key job results include accurate and timely patient registration, verified and complete patient information, and accurate report on daily ER census.

  1. Ensure accurate and complete ER patient identification and registration process.

  2. Ensures that ER patient's data are completely obtained and documented using standard forms.

  3. Safekeeps personal belongings of unaccompanied ER patients.

  4. Answers telephone calls and coordinates with concerned department.

  5. Encodes data of ER patients in the computer system.

  6. Assists ER patients in executing Promissory Notes and payment arrangement after office hours.

  7. Facilitates requests for ambulance vehicle.

  8. Prepares maintenance Job Order.

  9. Assists HMO and Company patients for consultation and informs HMOs for approval of procedures

  10. Prepares and submits daily ER census reports.

  11. Reports to police authorities all Medico-legal cases.

  12. Records in and maintains Medico-legal logbook.

  13. Performs other related functions assigned by superiors.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

Educational Qualification

· College degree preferably BSBA or Management

Experience

· At least 1 year experience in a hospital setting
