Chief Accountant oversee the hotel's financial operations, ensure compliance with corporate standards, and support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will excel in financial reporting, budget management, and audit coordination while maintaining the highest level of accuracy and integrity in financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with hotel and corporate financial standards, deadlines, and reporting accuracy.
  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations, including bank, balance sheet, and financial statements.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and payable aging to optimize cash flow management.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits, license renewals, and statutory compliance, including timely tax payments.
  • Support the Director of Finance in budgeting, forecasting, and intercompany account reconciliation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Holds a CPA license
  • One (1) to two (2) years of experience as Chief Accountant with excellent knowledge and experience in General Accounting
  • With a four (4) or five (5) star hotel or similar background is an advantage
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, budget preparation, and internal controls.
  • Proficiency in accounting systems and MS Office applications; experience with back-office hotel accounting software preferred
