The Chief Accountant is responsible for overseeing the financial health and stability of the organization through effective planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. This role ensures accurate financial record-keeping, compliance with regulatory requirements, and strategic financial guidance to support organizational growth.

Core focus on land development, subdivision sales, and perpetual-care funds for memorial park operations, the role involves managing project cash flows, controlling costs, and ensuring that financial strategies align with corporate goals.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage cash flow forecasting, project budgeting, and cost tracking per development phase
  • Oversee funding sources, including bank financing and loan covenant compliance
  • Handle financial modeling and projections for new projects and land acquisitions
  • Lead BIR compliance, LGU-related tax payments, and financial statement preparation
  • Coordinate with project engineers, sales teams, and accounting staff to ensure budget alignment
  • Supervise trust fund management, particularly for memorial park perpetual-care funds
  • Prepare monthly management reports and financial performance summaries for executives and investors
  • Support the development of internal financial control systems and processes

Qualification

  • CPA preferred, but not required if the candidate has extensive experience in real estate or memorial park operations
  • At least 5–7 years of experience in property development, construction finance, or related industries
  • Proficient in QuickBooks, Xero, SAP Business One, and Excel-based financial modeling
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine taxation, LGU obligations, and compliance with SEC/BIR regulations
  • Proven ability to establish robust financial control systems and end-to-end finance processes

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php70, Php80,000.00 per month
