Job Description: IT and Network Specialist / System Integrator
Position Overview

The IT and Network Specialist / System Integrator is responsible for managing, maintaining, and integrating IT infrastructure, networks, and multi-platform systems to ensure seamless operations and business continuity. This role combines expertise in network administration, IT support, and system integration to design, implement, and maintain end-to-end technology solutions that meet organizational and client needs.


Key Responsibilities
IT & Network Management
  • Administer, monitor, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, wireless networks, firewalls, switches, and routers.
  • Manage user accounts, access rights, and IT resources (servers, storage, cloud platforms).
  • Ensure system and network security through firewalls, antivirus, and access controls.
  • Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, servers, and enterprise applications.
System Integration
  • Design and implement integrated technology solutions that combine hardware, software, and networking components.
  • Ensure interoperability between IT systems, AV solutions, telecom, and enterprise platforms.
  • Configure, test, and deploy systems while ensuring compatibility and scalability.
  • Collaborate with vendors and project teams to deliver integrated solutions.
Maintenance & Security
  • Monitor system and network performance, applying updates, patches, and upgrades.
  • Perform regular data backups and ensure disaster recovery readiness.
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues affecting multi-platform environments.
Documentation & Support
  • Maintain accurate IT asset inventories, system diagrams, and configuration records.
  • Provide training and technical guidance to end-users and stakeholders.
  • Prepare reports on IT and system integration performance, risks, and recommendations.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics and Communications Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience as IT Specialist, Network Administrator, or System Integrator.
  • Strong knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs), IT systems, and enterprise platforms.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud), servers (Windows/Linux), and AV/telecom integration.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and integration issues.
  • Relevant certifications (CCNA, CompTIA Network+, Microsoft, ITIL, AVIXA CTS) are an advantage.
