Makati Hope Language and Learning Center, under Makati Hope Christian School, is actively searching for Part-Time Mandarin Teachers to join our team in Ortigas.

What we need from you:

  • Must have relevant experience in teaching basic and/or advanced Mandarin Language
  • Proficient in all Microsoft applications.
  • Ability to teach students from different backgrounds.
  • Ability to work after-hours, on weekends and public holidays, as needed.
  • Display patience and cultural awareness.
  • Teaching Credential / Certificate / License is an advantage
  • Available to start immediately (1 PM to 4 PM).
  • Willing to work in Ortigas Center, Mandaluyong

Your responsibilities:

  • Conducting activities and lessons based on Mandarin teaching methodologies.
  • Encouraging and engaging students to speak in Mandarin.
  • Motivating students and using humor to induce a pleasant learning environment.
  • Maximizing students' talk time through oral tests and presentations.
  • Displaying excellent classroom management.
  • Keeping accurate records of student performance.
  • Communicating with the Department Head or Principal, as needed.
  • Maintaining standardized guidelines.
