The Accounting Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, ensures accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulatory requirements, and supports business decision-making by maintaining financial health and accountability across the organization.

Job Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage general accounting functions, including A/R, A/P, G/L, and taxes.

  • Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports.

  • Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial statements.

  • Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and standards.

  • Coordinate and complete annual audits.

  • Develop internal control policies and procedures.

  • Lead and mentor accounting staff; assign tasks and set goals.

  • Coordinate with external stakeholders such as auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies.

  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning activities.

  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).

  • At least 5 years of relevant accounting experience, with 2+ years in a supervisory or managerial role.

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.

  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero).

  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

  • High attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
