Job Responsibilities

  • Supervise accounting staff: Oversee junior accountants and clerks handling accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger tasks.
  • Monitor financial transactions: Ensure accurate and timely processing of cash receipts, bank reconciliations, and journal entries.
  • Prepare financial reports: Analyze accounting data to produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Budgeting and forecasting: Assist in preparing budgets, monitor expenditures, and identify variances to implement corrective actions.
  • Audit coordination: Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and ensuring compliance.
  • Policy enforcement: Establish and maintain accounting policies aligned with company goals and legal requirements.
  • Compliance management: Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local financial regulations.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
  • Proven work experience in accounting, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • At least 5 years Above in Accounting Supervisor with exposure in US GAAP, General Ledger
  • Strong command of accounting software (e.g., FreshBooks, Zoho, SAP, Oracle), and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical abilities, attention to detail, and team management capabilities.
