About The Role
We are looking for a Social Media Coordinator & Content Creator who will be responsible for producing and publishing content that builds community and engagement across the brand's social channels. This role will act as a skilled executor while collaborating closely with the onshore Marketing Manager, who will lead strategy and creative direction. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in content creation and empathetic to the interests and needs of the midlife female audience.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, create and execute the monthly social media content calendar and support improvements to current processes and tools.
- Produce, edit, and publish engaging content across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Manage and nurture the Facebook community group and Instagram broadcast channel with authentic, value-driven content.
- Develop content assets for paid Meta campaigns as briefed by the Marketing Manager.
- Support brand collaborations by researching and reaching out to potential partners for GWP promotions and database-building campaigns.
- Identify potential UGC creators and support UGC-related initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with the onshore Marketing Manager and Marketing Coordinator to apply strategic insights and demographic knowledge to content.
- Assist with low-volume customer service inquiries via Gorgias, handling simple email and social DM responses if included in the final scope.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in social media management and content creation, preferably within the skincare industry.
- Strong skills in graphic design and video editing with a proven ability to balance creativity and performance.
- Excellent written communication skills and the ability to craft copy that resonates with the brand.
- Ability to absorb strategic direction and translate it into cohesive, on-brand content.
- Familiarity with Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and community-building tactics.
- High attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple content streams.
- Experience working with or willingness to learn customer service eCommerce platform tools such as Gorgias.
- A mature, empathetic approach to understanding the needs, interests, and mindset of midlife women.
